Nickelback announced 2009 Concert Tour. In support of their new album, the band has recently appeared on Jay Leno. Critics and fans alike are praising Dark Horse. The New York Times raved, "Nickelback ... has been responsible for some of the heaviest pop hits of this decade and more notably, it has almost single handedly preserved the idea of the arena-rock ballad."

In 2005 Nickelback released All The Right Reasons. Now Dark Horse is poised to set new records. Nickelback already has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. And their tours have grossed in excess of $100 million. We call that success.

Nickelback may seem like an overnight success story in the world of rock, but this Canadian quartet earned their fame through years of hard work. They started to gain more widespread recognition when they released two albums in 1996. Nickelback started touring furiously to promote the albums, doing shows in the US and Canada.

Their third album, The State was released in Canada in 2000 and the radio loved it. The top 2 songs on the album were both top 10 hits. 'Breathe' and 'Leader of Men' were spread quickly by fans word of mouth.

Nickelback re-launched their official fan club site on November 13th, 08 where members can gain exclusive access to candid photos and, audio and video. The site offers members exclusives, including tickets. There's also a new social platform enabling members to network and chat with other members via message boards and many other interactive features. - 2361
