Nothing beats the charm of a good romantic movie. While all romantic flicks leave an acceptable smile on your face, there are a few that could be able to leave an even wider smile. Here are some top picks in romantic movies of all times.

'Roman Holiday' tops the list ever romantic movies. This motion picture starring Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck is certain to bring alive your romantic side. Shot in the romantic locales of Rome, it is one of the most glamorously created movies to date. The story revolves around a princess and a beggar and how they fall in love. The movie ends on a very dramatic and doleful note, which leaves the audience asking for more.

From Rome, move on to Russia. Anastasia is based on a Russian folk tale. Make sure that you don't confuse it with the 1997 twentieth Century Fox animated flick of the same name. This one stars Xmas Breyner though both are based on the same basic concept of locating Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia. The movie is known for some of the best performances ever by both the leads and is still considered among the best to come out of Hollywood.

'Ghost' is another story of love that makes to the list of best romantic movies. Unlike other love stories that are between real people, this film tells the story of love between a wife and her dead partner. With actors like Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze bringing alive the romance on screen, this picture is a must watch. The film also stars Whoopi Goldberg, who even won an Oscar for an identical.

Yet another romantic flick of all times is 'Titanic'. You can watch this picture time after time again and can definitely feel the sorcery each time that you watch this flick. It is a simple love story shot among the bigger than life sets. The USP of the movie is the track in the film as sung by the singer Celine Dion. This song has still managed to be on everyone's lips.

World War two has been a great subject for filmmakers but not many have used it as a background of a romance. Consider Pearl Harbor as one outstanding exception. The film brings out how love can fundamentally survive and thrive, even in the greatest of calamity. The star cast includes Kate Bekinsale and Ben Afflek.
