Wonderful reviews of some of the most magnificent movies that you may pick from starting here. In Enemy Country - So-so designer of WW2 enthrall, set in France and England, filmed on a back-lot. Not very persuading. Cast includes Tony Franciosa, Anjanette Comer, Guy Stockwell, Paul Hubschmid, Tom Bell, and Emile Genest. (107 minutes, 1968)

Cast includes Christopher Walken, Lorraine Bracco, Miguel Ferrer, Martin Donovan, and Danie Von Bargen. (101 minutes, 1993)

The Geisha Boy - Jerry, an hopeless warlock, travels to Japan with calamitous repercussions. Ingenious graphic gags; there's a clever pattern characterizing the Los Angeles Dodgers and, purposely, Gil Hodges. Lunatics and Lovers - Aristocrat Mastroianni has a fictional spouse; an organ grinder persuades hooker Mori to "impersonate" her. While it is not stupid, it's monotonous. Cast includes Marcello Mastroianni, Claudia Mori, Lino Morelli, Flora Carabella, and Adriano Celentano. (93 minutes, 1976)

Hanky Panky - Blameless designer Wilder is pursued by snoops, cops, etc. Predictable, hardly nonsensical comedy-thriller, with Radner miscast as the love interest. The flick was intended to be a follow-up to Stir Crazy, although Richard Pryor's part was modified for Gilda. You have watched it all before, and better. Cast includes Gene Wilder, Gilda Radner, Kathleen Quinlan, Richard Widmark, Robert Prosky, Josef Sommer, and Johnny Sekka. (88 minutes, 1982)

Shooter - Retired Marine Corp Sniper Bob Lee Swagger is asked to come to Washington, to help stalk another sniper that will try to murder the President. What happens to him next is a total shock.
