Easy Face Painting Tutorials

By Kelly Van Dorn

Face painting is a fun filled activity and the kids love it. You may have seen the happy faces at a fundraiser or a birthday party. The very thought of how easily the faces were transformed and how good they looked puts a smile on your face. So if you also want to try your hand at face painting there are ways to learn even though you may have never painted anything in your life!

The best thing to do is start straight away! Start by looking for face painting tutorials. You will find that if you go online there are many sites with face painting tutorials that you simply have to copy, step by step and by the end you will have a finished face that will look like a pro painted it.

You will find different types of tutorials online but try to find videos as this will be easier because you can follow the steps and see what the teacher is doing. Video is also useful if you make a mistake because you can replay it until you feel you have done it correctly and mastered it.

Face painting tutorials are helpful for advice on the correct colors to use for certain designs as well as the tools needed such as what brushes or sponges to use. The tutor will normally give some good tips on caring for your tools too which will help them to last longer.

The tutorials you will see are normally for beginners and are very simple, with step by step instructions of what to do next. Simply follow the instructions and you will literally see a new face begin to develop in front of your eyes. Keep practicing the tutorials and trying new techniques. One main thing to remember is to use paint approved by the FDA but more importantly, go and have fun with your new found talent. - 2361
