The WoW Warlock - Leveling and Class Info

By Mick Mananite

The WoW Warlock can have lots of different pets and unlike are hunter, they can use any one of these pets just by using a summoning spell. Warlocks are particularly popular for their unique abilities of causing excessive damage over time. They also make great classes for solo game play.

The basic entry level pet of the WoW Warlock is the imp. You will learn how to summon this demon and they can fight by your side by hurling bolts of fire significantly adding to your damage output. To optimize the power of your pets, you should invest more points in the demonology tree. Without this, your pets a very weak and the Warlock becomes more like a Mage.

Warlocks do not have a particularly steep learning curve but they can be a little more complicated to master than some of the other classes. Nonetheless, they are one of the most fun classes to play and can hurl out a great deal of damage, especially if they are configured as destruction.

The warlock can summon any of the pets available to it at any time, unlike the hunter who is stuck with one pet at a time, having to return to a stable keeper every time they want another one. Warlocks have DPS pets, tanking pets and anti-caster pets. They can also summon an infernal for a brief period of time.

The warlock also has another effective DPS pet which is also learned at later levels, regardless of their talent specs. This is the succubus. There is also an infernal which can be summoned for a limited amount of time only.

The WoW warlock is always in high demand in the end game is being one of the most powerful damage classes available. - 2361
