The Easiest Way to Copy Nintendo Wii Games

By Dana Goldberg

Ever since they were launched, the Nintendo WII series of gaming devices have attracted the fancy of millions of gaming enthusiasts the world around. The popularity it has garnered has threatened to wipe out the competition posed by other brands like the Sony Xbox 360. The games that are written for the WII series come in compact disks or DVD's which are susceptible to damage. A good measure to take is to know how to copy wii games. Even a small scratch might destroy the contents of the disk and cause you to lose your money.

The WII games do not come cheap and that adds to your worry of having a damaged master disk. The solution is to make copies of your master disk or copy the WII game CD onto your PC's hard drive so that you can make as many copies of it as you want. The copies can be put to regular use while the master can be stored safely away. Making a back up copy of your master disk ensures its longevity and protects your investment.

Because the games that are written for the WII series are so expensive you cant afford to have your CD's lie around waiting to get scratched or even losing them. Making copies of your WII game lets you use those copies without fear of losing your game. Even if you end up losing them you can always make another copy. During the early days of the WII series, these games that came on disks could not be copied to another digital storage device.

With the passing of time, new and innovative softwares sprung up that could enable a user to copy the game on his WII disk to any other storage device of choice and that too quite easily. Though the gaming industry has come down heavily on piracy and most of these softwares are now no longer effective, there are still some very good automated softwares that even a layman who has no technical knowledge can use to copy your WII game to another storage device.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to make a copy of your WII disc. All you need is reliable and easy to use software that can make image files of the CD's that are put into your PC's CD ROM drive. There are even video tutorials and blog articles that you could check out to learn a trick or two about copying your WII game.

It is a simple and easy process if you are able to procure software that is automated and lets you make image files of your game CD. These image files can be saved on your computer's hard disk and copied or burned onto other disks.

Having a back up copy of your precious game CD is comforting in that you know that your investment is protected and you won't have to buy a replacement as long as you can make copies and use them while storing away the original disk. - 2361
