Cheap Televisions

By Billy.F.Bradford

Thinking of buying the cheapest TV you can find at your local electronics store? Well, you may want to think twice before making that purchase! We know you don't want to spend any more of your hard earned money than you have to on any purchase, but buying the cheapest TV you can find may end up costing you more in the long run!

So please take our advice! It may not matter one iota if you buy a can of pork and beans made by Heinz or the Asda brand. But when it comes to purchasing a more permanent item such as a television or a refrigerator, do not buy a no name brand! When you purchase the very cheapest televisions made by no name brands, you are not investing in a product that is guaranteed to last.

Cheap tvs are literally disposable electronics. Nevertheless, the people who work at no name brands manufacturing cheap television sets know the power of a low price. They know that they will be able to sell their cheap televisions, even if they have to cut corners and use cheap and even faulty materials, because these televisions have such a low sticker price.

These companies are not trying to get a good reputation or repeat buyers. And most of the stores who sell these cheap TVs also do not stand behind the products, leaving you powerless when the set breaks down after less than a year.

And because they are made of such poor quality materials, no name brand cheap televisions are always breaking down. The average life of a no name television is only three to six years while a name brand television can last for decades.

If your set breaks down quickly, you may think that you just got unlucky with that brand. Maybe you will try a different no name brand and have better luck. After all, you already spent a good amount of money on the first set, and so you don't have a ton of money to spend on a replacement television.

Many people do not realize that it is actually very common for one factory in China to produce cheap TVs for several different no name companies. And as the buyer, there is no way for you to know where that cheap TV set was made. You can't exactly hire an expert to take apart your set and assess how well it was made. So when you buy a second cheap television made by a no name brand, it is just as likely that it will break down as well!

But when you buy a television produced by name brand companies such as Sony, LG, Philips, Toshiba, JVC, Samsung, Pioneer, and Panasonic, you will get a warranty on the television, as well as free support if there is a problem with your set. Since they work hard to promote their brand, these companies have excellent customer service and are eager to help you fix any problem that may arise. And, most importantly, the materials that sets manufactured by these brands are made of are always of the highest quality, so TVs made by name brands will last you decades. So, in the long run, it is a much better idea to pick the high quality name brand set instead of opting for the cheapest television set. - 2361
