2nd Step:

Set up the program. Find the file on your desktop. Double click it. Click next whenever that it asks you. You'll be aware that you are done when you are getting a screen informing you that the installation is complete.

3rd Step:

Which game do you want to copy first? Decide now. Take it out and insert it into your computer's CD drive.

STEP 4

Launch the program that you installed in step 2.

5th Step:

This step is where the difference comes in compared to trying to duplicate games with ordinary CD copying software like Windows Media Player or Roxio. You need to "rip" the game disc. When it's finished, it will pop up a completion screen and play some music. At this point, you're all set! You just need to remove the disc, label it, and play it! Don't fail to put the master copy up somewhere that it will be safe!

So you want to write something super funky. If this is your first time writing in a funk style, here are a few things that may be helpful in your pursuit of a real funky composition.

You can play any chord progression with a funky rhythm, but most funk music is kept to one chord. This is usually the case due to a basic rule of composition: If some parts of a piece are complex and bustling, other parts should be simple. This is to balance the composition and keep it from becoming crowded. The rhythms in funk songs are often busy. Therefore, chord progressions are kept to a minimum in order to ensure a balanced composition.

Another feature of Funk music is the use of Dominant Seventh chords (as opposed to Major Seventh chords) which are often simply referred to as Seventh chords. And it is common to add the ninth or thirteenth as upper extensions to these chords (but not the eleventh because it will clash with the major third of the chord, which lies a half-step below it). Sex Machine, by James Brown, utilizes an Eb7 chord within the guitar part, which alternates these upper extensions between the 9 and 13.

Funk rhythm uses a Sixteenth-Note groove. Whereas a 4/4 beat counts 1, 2, 3, 4 for each measure, a Sixteenth-Note count divides each of these four beats into four more. This can be counted as 1-e-and-a-2-e-and-a-3-e-and-a-4-e-and-a. These complex subdivisions allow for much more intricate rhythms.

But the key to making this Sixteenth-Note feel sound funky lies in the art of Syncopation. Where a Straight feel might accent the instruments and vocals on the main beats and the ands, a Syncopated feel will more commonly accent the off-beat subdivisions such as the e or the a. This is the primary way to create that funk feel. And you can write out your rhythms with numbers or music notation, which is not a bad idea, but it is often just as effective to get a feel for these grooves in the same way a dancer might feel the music. Funk music is essentially a form of dance music.

Sparseness is the next step. Leave a lot of space and rests within the instrumental parts. Non-stop sixteenth notes, or any type of notes, will kill your groove. It is often the notes that you don't hear that bring out the notes that you do hear in Funk music.

Lastly, but most essential, outline a single chord with a complex bass line while also adhering to the rhythmic concepts discussed above. Most of the best bass players I have worked with were very skilled at playing in this style. Also, a funky bass line is not about slapping, as impressive as that technique can be. It is about including a good deal of percussive muted notes, along with the main notes and rests within your bass lines.

Try including these tips from the beginning of your songwriting process rather than writing a song with standard chords and a straight rhythm and then trying to funk it out. You are sure to end up with a uniquely different type of song than you otherwise would have.

Alexis Arguello: Remembering A Champion

Alexis Arguello, one of the greatest boxers to ever compete, was found dead in his Managua, Nicaragua home in early July of an apparent suicide. He was 57 years old. Arguello was the mayor of Nicaragua's capital city at the time of his death.

Known for his class outside the ring as much for his tenacity inside the ring, hes best known to casual fight fans for his epic war in'82 with Aaron The Hawk Pryor when he moved up in weight after dominating at lighter weight classes. Ring Magazine not only named it Fight of the Year, but later would dub it Fight of the Decade. Promoter Bob Arum offered these thoughts on Pryor/Arguello:

"It was a brutal, brutal fight. That was something I will never, ever forget as long as I live. That was one of the most memorable fights I ever did."

While the first Pryor fight may have brought him the most mainstream notoriety, boxing cognoscenti are aware that Arguello is arguably the best lightweight and junior lightweight in the history of the sport. Arguello would end his career with an astounding 82-8 record with 65 knockouts and championships in three different weight classes.

Ironically, Arguellos career didn't get off to a good start and he lost his debut in'68 via first round TKO. After that, he seldom lost again. He was at his best against his toughest adversaries including Ray Mancini, Bobby Chacon and Ruben Olivares. Bob Arum remembered him not only as a great fighter, but as a great man:

"Not only was he one of the greatest fighters I've ever seen, he was the most intelligent fighter. He was a ring tactician. Every move was thought out. And he was a wonderful, wonderful person."

Arguello was also very quick to remind younger fighters on their responsibility to the sport and how champions should conduct themselves. Here's he speaks of his attitude toward his opponents:

"Of course after the fight you want to make sure that you're okay and so is the other guy, its a brotherhood in there, so you want to make sure everyone is okay after the war is over."

Arguello would frequently admonish boxers who didn't show the same respect for the sport or their status as champion:

"When you won that title you should know now that you are representing a whole country or nation with your actions and you are now in a glass house or under a microscope and you better be ready to make your people proud."

Arguello loved boxing and fought to protect it from those who would undermine its greatness:

"I respect boxing because it has given me so much and thats why I will never allow anyone to mistreat the sport of boxing if I can help it."

While the modest, dignified Arguello would never say it himself he also gave back immeasurably to the sport of boxing with his grace, intelligence, talent and toughness.

Quarterback Tony Romo had another solid game, and the Dallas Cowboys made short work of the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon in a 38-17 victory. Romo threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions, and receiver Miles Austin caught a touchdown pass for the third straight game.

The Cowboys also got on the winning side of the NFL pointspread ledger with the win and cover as -10 home favorites. Dallas is now 4-3 against the spread for the season, while Seattle fell to 2-5 versus the number.

Romo has made greater patience in the pocket a priority this season, and it's paying dividends. Sunday's game was his third straight without an interception and he's stayed interception free in five games this season-more than he did all of last year. Romo couldn't resist a joke at his own expense:

"Shock! I'm seeing things. It's as simple as that. I'm not throwing and hoping."

Head coach Wade Phillips expressed his pleasure, but didn't want his team to start believing their own press clippings:

"I feel good about the progress we've made, but we've still got a ways to go."

Team owner Jerry Jones was happy with the performance and already looking ahead to next Sunday's game at Philadelphia:

"I'm just glad to see as many people really do as well and play as well as they did today. Philadelphia is the kind of game that I think we're ready for. ... Plus, I think we all remember so much -- I know I do and so many players on this team remember -- how we left Philadelphia last year."

UFC 98 Review: Karate Is Back As Machida Beats Evans

When golf legend Jack Nicklaus was still a young upstart in the sport and only starting to tear up PGA courses, legend Bobby Jones commented following 'The Golden Bear's''65 Masters win that "he plays a game with which I am not familiar". Following Lyoto Machida's absolute destruction of Rashad Evans in the main event of UFC 98, there's likely a few MMA fighters saying the same thing. Machida completely befuddled Evans en route to a 2nd round TKO victory after which 'The Dragon' looked as if he'd barely worked up a sweat.

The fight started slowly, with each man trying to get a feel for his opponent and wait him out to see who blinked first. Late in the first round, Machida went on offense with frightening suddenness, flooring Evans with a nice straight right hand. Evans was able to recover and survive, but it only delayed the inevitable as Machida used another right hand to send his opponent down again. Evans gamely tried to fight back, but a final right hand from the Shotokan Karate master left him out cold.

After the fight UFC announcer Joe Rogan proclaimed the start of the Machida era and this is not just mere hyperbole. Machida is unlike any fighter before him, rooted in mastery of traditional martial arts but with the versatility of a modern MMA competitor. He's essentially a Mortal Kombat character come to life--in a more realistic cross disciplinary comparison he shares many of the same characteristics as boxing great Floyd Mayweather, Jr. as he combines insane handspeed, underrated stopping power and nearly impenetrable defense into an unorthodox and extremely lethal package. Like Mayweather, hes a tough opponent to prepare for as there's simply no way to replicate his skill set in sparring. In another similarity with boxing's recent pound for pound king, Machida has been bred to fight since birth. His father is a first generation Japanese --Brazilian and a Shotokan Karate legend, Yoshizo Machida. He began training in his fathers discipline at the age of 3 and by the time he was 12 years old had earned a black belt.

The comparisons with the insanely talented but equally insanely arrogant Mayweather end when the final bell sounds. Outside of the cage, Machida is a modest and respectful gentleman who is quick to give credit to his father and his karate teachers for his MMA success. He spent most of his UFC 98 postfight interview not singing his own praises, but imploring others to strive to realize their dreams.

An odd trivia note about Machida serves as further repudiation for MMA neophytes who think that the sports kinship with pro wrestling began with Brock Lesnar: Machida was discovered by Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki, and became something of his protege. He trained for some time at the New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo in Tokyo.

Perhaps the most frightening thing about Machida is that hes only now reaching his full potential as an MMA fighter. In other words, hes only going to get better which is a scary prospect for opponents given the fact that hes never lost in MMA competition. In his recent bouts hes shown a downright lethal ability to end fights. He stopped Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou at UFC 79 with an arm triangle choke, and blitzed Evans and previous foe Thiago Alves with punishing punching combinations en route to TKO victories.

Machida will very likely face Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson at some point in the future and, with all due respect to the PRIDE/UFC veteran, its difficult to see him faring much differently than Evans did. Texans Even Record With Win Over Bengals

Behind a career day for quarterback Matt Schaub, the Houston Texans erased a 17-14 halftime deficit to score-- points in the second half and defeat the host Cincinnati Bengals 28-17. Schaub threw for 342 yards and 4 touchdowns against one interception in the solid road victory. Against a team that had won three straight games in the final seconds, Houston never gave Cincinnati the chance to create any late drama. Cincinnati dropped to 4-2 with the loss while Houston evened their record at 3-3.

Houston took the money as +3' road underdogs with the outright win, and both teams are now 3-3 on the season against the NFL pointspread. The 45 points just managed to stay UNDER the posted total of 46. The Texans have gone UNDER in 4 of 6 this season while the Bengals evened their NFL totals record at 3-3.

After the victory, Schaub said that his team knew of Houston's penchant for late game comebacks and that 'putting them away' would be a priority:

"Every game went down to the wire for them. Credit goes to them because they were able to find ways to win those games. So it was a matter of putting the game away."

The Texans' low key head coach Gary Kubiak would only offer that:

"Matt continues to put up exceptional numbers on the road."

The defense did a stellar job as well, shutting out the Bengals in the second half. In the third quarter, Houston only allowed six yards on nine plays for a franchise record. Cornerback Dunta Robininson talked about the defensive corps mindset:

"It was swarm tackling. Everybody has a job to do, and today we made this team a one-dimensional team. Overall as a defense, we played well."

In the losing locker room, wide receiver Chad Ochocinco admitted that his team knew that they couldn't rely on last minute heroics to win games:

"That's our fault. We've been saying that we can't keep winning with the way we've been playing. We've got to be consistent for all four quarters."

The Bengals will play their next two games at home, starting with a contest against the Chicago Bears this Sunday. They'll host the Baltimore Ravens the following Sunday before traveling to Pittsburgh for a game against the Steelers on November 15. The Texans host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. They'll take to the road for the next two games, playing Buffalo on November 1 and Indianapolis the following Sunday.

To be a cameraman means that you have to creatively design a picture in the frame-which is incredibly difficult if you think about all the aspects in the shot that have to become unified-lights, props, the whole ambiance of the shot, have to be captured appropriately. To be able to unify all these elements takes a well-trained eye and good, creative vision.

The cameraman takes longer than everyone else in the crew because they have to prep the camera. Even though there are camera assistants, cameras consist of many small, delicate pieces and must be handled with extreme care. Working on set as a cameraman means you go to work early and stay late because of the camera and how long it takes to prep.

Depending on what type of camera you're shooting with, some camera preps take up to a week to test out all the parts and make sure they work properly. A cameraman must be in good shape and be able to lift heavy equipment, as industry-standard tripods and high-end cameras tend to be on the heavier side and you have to be able to move it all around quickly and proficiently.

Getting your "foot in the door" as a cameraman (or any crew member for that matter) is incredibly hard and requires a lot of time, persistence and ambition. Being able to operate and put together numerous cameras is an important skill to acquire in your camera career as well so you can be quick and efficient getting ready to shoot every day of the production. Lagging is bad in production work because there is never any time to waste. The quicker and more efficient you are at putting cameras together and operating them, the more jobs you'll attain.

I think that freelance camerawork is the most difficult type of camerawork because it is never a promise. Sometimes projects will call you a week before you're scheduled to work and tell you it's been canceled. All cameramen start off as freelance as that's the only way to get noticed and get more jobs-unless you're somehow related to someone who can (and will) plug you in right away.

The majority of getting your foot in the door has to do with networking, meeting and keeping in contact with other camera people from previous shoots or random contacts you just happen to meet. Even if you're still a student, there are a lot of people who have contacts and networking is a big deal and a big part of getting work in the film industry.

Cheryl realized that she should talk to her cousin Gloria, who is a HR manager. Her cousin told her that it is all right to ask the company about her job application but she should inquire on Tuesday. Gloria specifically told Cheryl not to make follow up calls during Mondays because it is always poor timing.

The idea is that when you focus your mind on something, it attracts it to you. You don't even have to be expending mental energy on this goal consciously in order for this effect to work.

As an example, take the placebo effect - people who are receiving a placebo in clinical trials of medications often experience the effects caused by the actual medication since they believe that they are receiving the medication.

Favre put up decent yardage in the loss, throwing for 334 yards but had no touchdowns and an interception. The defending Superbowl Champion Steelers improved to 5-2, while the Vikings are now 6-1.

NFL pointspread players who backed the Steelers as -6 home favorites were rewarded with the cover. Pittsburgh had only covered one of their first six games heading into the contest, and the win improved their record against the number to 2-5. Minnesota dropped to 4-3 against the spread with the setback.

The Steelers largely shut down Minnesota's rushing game, holding Adrian Peterson to 69 yards. Pittsburgh safety Ryan Clark underscored his team's dominance against the run:

"That's the biggest point of the game. You have the best running back in the world and you don't give it to him. They're saying they can't beat us running, and that's a major statement when you have the guy they have back there."

Rudy is another football movie that 100 percent makes the cut. Rudy takes us back to a different time in Notre Dame football history and through one man's remarkable journey to conquer his goals. Another movie that is suitable for the whole family.

Remember The Titans may oddly enough be my favorite Disney film of all. This movie is just awesome. If you have never seen this one, you are missing out. This film is one of Denzel Washington's best performances as Herman Boone.

The aforementioned films are truly some of my favorites. There are others that are worth mentioning, but these films I remember more than any other football movies.

Dallas Comeback Foils Minnesota Preseason Perfection

After spotting Dallas the first 7 points of the game, the Vikings scored three unanswered touchdowns to head to the locker room at halftime with a 21-7 advantage. After the break, however, Dallas reserves took over the game and rallied with 28 second half points. When the smoke cleared, Dallas had beaten Minnesota 35-31 to spoil their undefeated preseason record. The Vikings would slip to 3-1 in preseason play while Dallas evened their exhibition mark at 2-2.

Minnesota had been set as a -3 home favorite, so NFL bettors who favored the Cowboys cashed their tickets with the outright victory. The two offenses were working overtime, eventually putting a combined 66 points on the scoreboard sending the total OVER the posted 35' number.

Vikings coach Josh Childress wasnt happy that his team blew a big lead at home and blamed his quarterbacks:

"At times it was embarrassing. I'll end up putting that on myself, not having them ready to come out of the locker room at halftime. All the quarterbacks I've ever coached have some regard for the football and you can't throw it to them."

Sage Rosenfelds and John David Booty were the real targets of Chidress ire, with each throwing a second half interception that helped facilitate the Cowboys comeback. For many native English speakers, to learn Italian language pronunciation is a relatively achievable task compared to many other languages. Only a few of consonant sounds do not have direct English equivalents; however, the broad exposure to Italian cuisine, film, and music has given many at least some recognition of these different sounds. As for the vowel sounds, they all exist in English! While there are five written vowel letters "a, e, i, o, u", there are seven distinct vowel sounds. These additional two sounds come from the "open" and "close" pronunciations of the letters "e" and "o". What is an "open" or "close" vowel sound? This article will take a closer look at how to pronounce all the Italian vowels.

First, let's begin with the vowels that always have the same sound. Whenever you see the vowels "a", "i", and "u" between consonants or alone at the beginning/end of a word, you'll see that the "a" sounds like the "a" in the English word "father" as in gatto (cat), the "i" sounds like the "ee" in the English word "see" as in amico (friend), and the "u" sounds like the "oo" English word "food" as in uno (one). However, when vowels are next to other vowels, they sometimes can combine with their neighbors and form a new sound that is called a diphthong (two vowel sounds combined into one) or triphthong (three vowel sounds combined into one), but to go into more detail is beyond the scope of this article.

Now, let's take a look at the letters "e" and "o". Both these letters have what is called an "open" and "close" pronunciation. These terms describe the position of the tongue in the mouth when the vowel sound is made. For an "open" vowel sound, the tongue is placed at the bottom of the mouth creating an open cavity for air to pass through. On the other hand, a "close" vowel sound is made when the tongue is raised close to the roof of the mouth minimizing the amount of air that passes and changing the sound of the vowel.

In Italian, the open "e" sounds like the "e" in the English word "bed" as in bella (pretty). While, the close "e" sounds like the "ai" in the English word "maid" as in mela (apple). There are even some words that differ in meaning solely by the use of a close "e" or open "e". For example, in Italian pronounce the word pesca with a close "e" and your Italian friend will think you're talking about a "peach". If you say pesca with an open "e" it takes on the meaning of "fishing." Like the letter "e", the Italian "o" has both open and close pronunciations. The open "o" sounds like the "o" in the English word "hog" as in forza (strength) while the close "o" sounds like the "oe" in the English word "toe" as in signore (sir; gentleman).

So, how do you know when to pronounce an Italian "e" or "o" as an open or close vowel? Generally, in unstressed syllables you'll only see close vowels such as the "o" in sabato (Saturday) and the "e" in nove (nine). However, in stressed syllables you can come across either the close or open vowel sound. Sometimes accent marks can be written over the vowels to help you tell the difference in pronunciations. The upward angled mark (acute accent), as in "" or "", signals an open pronunciation while the downward angled mark (grave accent), as in "" or "", signifies a close pronunciation. While you may find these accent marks provided in dictionaries or even in written material when the author is clarifying homographs such as ancra (still) as opposed to ncora (anchor), you'll typically only find an accent on the final syllable if it's stressed like with perch (why), caff (coffee), and per (but).

Even then, particularly in handwriting, many Italians use the accent mark only as a marker of stress and not to distinguish between the open and close vowels. So, you may come across a stroke above the letter that looks neither acute nor grave. Or, you may discover grave accents used for every case. While these guidelines follow the pronunciation of the Tuscan accent which has become the neutral standard used in dictionaries and in the media, Italy is still a country with many strong regional accents. In some cases, the use of a close or open vowel for a certain word is the exact opposite usage of another region. Or, some regional accents may not make a distinction between an open and close vowel that another would. Superstar Shortage At NBA All Star Game

The NBA All Star game was played without a couple of high profile participants this year as the Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant and Philadelphia 76ers' Allen Iverson would not play due to injury. Kobe and 'AI' were the latest in a string of injuries to All Star players that also claimed Portland's Brandon Roy and New Orleans' Chris Paul.

Kobe Bryant has been plagued with minor injuries all year, but missed the Lakers' last three games prior to the All Star contest due to an ankle sprain. Los Angeles is hopeful that by not playing in the game that Kobe will be able to return to action immediately after play resumes following the All Star break. Bryant did travel to Dallas to participate in All Star game festivities. Kobe is always up for a party, and reportedly had a fabulous time in Dallas over the weekend.

Iverson has missed Philadelphia's past five games due to an illness suffered by one of his young children. Unlike Kobe, Iverson wasn't expected to be in Dallas this weekend due to the nature of his situation. It's debatable that Iverson deserved an All Star game nod in the first place. He quickly wore out his welcome in Memphis to start the year, and eventually landed back in Philadelphia where he's averaged 14.4 points per game since his return. He was voted in to the starting lineup by NBA fans, and this renewed calls from the media to revise the procedure for selecting All Star game participants. Many would be pleased if the fans were taken out of the process of selecting the starting lineup altogether.

Jason Kidd of the Dallas Mavericks was chosen to replace Bryant in the Western Conference lineup, while New York's David Lee was the East's fill in for Iverson. The West already had two 'fill ins' named to their roster as Denver's Chauncy Billups and the LA Clippers' Chris Kaman took the place of Chris Paul and Brandon Roy respectively.

Roller Derby has been around for years and was a staple of the early days of television. It was similar to its better known counterpart, pro wrestling and was seen on many of the same low powered UHF stations in the same bad timeslots. It had a similar borderline sleazy group of promoters and businessman that was common in the regional territory era of pro wrestling. Roller derby didn't have the success or popularity that pro wrestling did. There was a serious athletic component to be sure, but the dim witted storylines made pro wrestling look like Shakespeare. The sport does have its own history--most know that the LA T-Birds were the perennial champions of'70's, and Ann Calvello and Ralphie Valladares had been in the sport forever and were considered legends--but it never really stuck in the public consciousness like the pre-Hulk Hogan era of pro wrestling.

When the original purveyors of the sport quit promoting in the early'80s most thought it was dead and gone until a 'new school' of roller derby surfaced on cable TV via the A&E reality series Roller Girls. It featured a local, all-girl roller derby league in Austin, Texas and followed the lives of the players on and off the track. While much of the show dwelled in Lifetime style drama about binge drinking and bad relationships, it was the first clue that many had that roller derby had risen from the dead. A sport that had faded into the lowest level of obscurity had been rediscovered and embraced by an eclectic group of young women. They had kept the same essential format, thrown in a healthy dose of burlesque camp and Varga pin-up inspired glamour and made it into their own vibrant subculture. They changed the competitive format and renamed the competitions "bouts" a la MMA or boxing. The result was a compelling mixture of glamour, toughness and athleticism driven by a healthy dose of punk rock "do it yourself" mentality.

Today, roller derby is a full blown worldwide phenomenon. There are hundreds of local roller derby leagues not only in the United States, but Canada, Australia and Europe. Most of the local groups similarly play up the campy retro pin-up/hot rod iconography and everyone involved sure looks like they're having a good time. Between teams there's a vibe of good natured competitiveness and camaraderie.

This organic rebirth and growth of roller derby is a result of young women taking what essentially was TV time filler and made it into their own distaff 'action sport'. The community that has sprung up around it bears a striking resemblance to the skateboarding or snowboarding subculture. Granted, there are plenty of talented female skateboarders and snowboarders but they're typically male dominated disciplines. The roller derby circa 2009 is just the opposite--a living, breathing matriarchal success story. No one is in it for the money, as these local groups are typically run as non-profit organization. The women involved have recreated this sport, and run it, promote it and compete in it on their own terms.

The new generation rollergirls also pay homage to their sports' pioneers much in the same way that skateboarders give props to Duane Peters and Tony Alva. Many of the individual group websites have sections devoted to the history of roller derby, and the late Ann Calvello--regarded as the Queen of the original Roller Derby--is revered as something of a patron saint. The Texas Rollergirl group featured in the A&E series has renamed their championship the Calvello Cup.

Clemson Stuns Miami With Overtime Touchdown

The Clemson Tigers used a touchdown pass on their first possession of overtime to upset the Miami Hurricanes 40-37 on Saturday night to cap a back and forth game. Miami kicked a field goal on their first possession of overtime to take the lead, but Clemson responded with a seldom used play on third and 11 to get the victory as quarterback Kyle Parker completed a 27 yard touchdown pass to Jacoby Ford. Clemson improved to 4-3 with the win while Miami slipped to 5-2.

College football betting devotees who backed Clemson as +4 road underdogs eventually cashed their tickets, but they definitely earned their money in a game that saw twelve lead changes and two ties. Clemson improved to 5-2 against the spread with the cover, while Miami dropped to 4-3 against the money. The 77 combined points sailed OVER the posted total of 43. It was only Miami's second OVER of the season against four UNDER verdicts while Clemson has gone OVER in three of their seven games.

After the game, Jacoby Ford explained his logic for suggesting the surprise play in the huddle:

"We knew this game was going to come down to who made more plays. And we did."

Miami has a history of winning when their offense is clicking-this loss was only the second in 115 games when the Hurricanes score 37 or more points dating back to'85.

For his part, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is glad this one is over:

"I have a birthday next month and I think I'm going to turn 50 instead of 40. We had to put on Superman capes. We made plenty of mistakes that could have lost us the game, but they played with poise and confidence. We just kept battling."

CJ Spiller was also a big factor for the Tigers as he set a school record with 310 all purpose yards including a 90 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He also added 81 yards rushing and 104 yards receiving with a 56 yard touchdown catch.

So now Hitler had his sights on England. The white cliffs of Dover were clearly visible as the German High Command peered past the English Channel from Calais.

Nonetheless, unless the skies of England were under German command, Hitler couldn't authorise Operation Sealion - the invasion of United Kingdom. With America being reluctant to participate in the war at this stage and her Allies overcome, Britain would need to face the Germans all alone.

Would Britain hold out until the autumn when the weather would hinder the Germans from crossing the Channel? The Battle of Britain was the first time the Germans had suffered a military defeat during World War II.
